A multi-billion-dollar clean energy project that could become Australia's biggest green hydrogen producer has been given federal government backing, in the form of a $1.6 million cash injection to see if the project can live up to its potential.
On behalf of the Australian Government, the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has today announced a $1,666,701 grant to Aboriginal Clean Energy Partnership Pty Ltd (ACEP) to support Phase 1 of the feasibility study for the East Kimberley Clean Energy and Hydrogen Project.
Indigenous communities and Australia’s leading climate change solutions company are partnering to deliver one of the nation’s largest clean energy projects, producing green hydrogen products for domestic and export markets.
